Bang & Olufsen Beosound A9 5th Generation Wireless Speaker combines iconic Scandinavian design with powerful room-filling sound. Its seven-driver acoustic system with 1500W total Class D amplification delivers deep bass and detailed audio, while Active Room Compensation, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, and Beolink Multiroom provide versatile premium home listening.

Bang & Olufsen Beosound A9 5th Generation Wireless Speaker brings powerful audio performance and distinctive interior design together in one of Bang & Olufsen’s most recognizable speakers. Its seamless circular form, premium materials, and customizable design allow the A9 to function as both a high-performance audio system and a statement piece for modern living spaces.

Behind the elegant exterior is a sophisticated seven-driver speaker system consisting of two ¾-inch tweeters, two 1½-inch full-range drivers, two 3-inch midrange drivers, and a powerful 8-inch woofer. Dedicated Class D amplification delivers a combined 1500W of amplifier power, providing rich bass, clear vocals, and detailed high-frequency performance.

The Beosound A9 delivers a frequency range of 33 Hz to 23 kHz, with maximum sound pressure reaching 100 dB SPL at 1 meter and bass capability rated at 95 dB SPL. Bang & Olufsen recommends it for rooms ranging from approximately 15 to 100 m², making it suitable for spacious living rooms, lounges, offices, and premium entertainment areas.

Integrated Active Room Compensation uses built-in microphones to analyze the surrounding environment and automatically optimize the speaker’s acoustic performance for its placement. Adaptive Bass Linearization and thermal protection further help maintain controlled, powerful sound across different listening levels.

The A9 supports modern wireless streaming through dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi with IEEE 802.11 b/g/a/n/ac/ax compatibility, as well as Bluetooth 5.3. Music can be streamed using Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Deezer Connect, and HomeMedia.

Beolink Multiroom, Apple AirPlay, and Google Cast allow the A9 to become part of a wireless multiroom audio system. Bang & Olufsen Stereo Pairing also allows two compatible A9 speakers to be paired for dedicated left and right stereo channels.

Physical connectivity includes Ethernet, a USB-C line input with an included USB-C-to-AUX adapter, and mains power. Ethernet can also be used for Digital Power Link functionality with compatible Bang & Olufsen systems.

The speaker can be controlled directly from its top surface using intuitive slide and tap controls. Slide a finger across the surface to change volume, while taps provide convenient playback and track controls. Additional control and sound personalization are available through the Bang & Olufsen app and compatible Beoremote devices.

With its powerful seven-driver architecture, intelligent room calibration, extensive streaming support, premium materials, and unmistakable circular design, the Beosound A9 5th Generation is designed for users seeking both exceptional home audio and an elegant statement piece.
